16. Gothic Candelabra Beach Lanterns
Introduction and What This Idea Means
Portable lighting is great for coastal porches and patios during evening gatherings. Large metal candle lanterns designed with gothic arched windows and multi-tiered interior candelabras bring moody elegance to outdoor dining tables.
How to Make It
Place oversized black iron candle lanterns on your outdoor patio table or line them along your porch steps. Fill them with pillar candles or LED wax candles to safely illuminate outdoor pathways without harsh electric floodlights.
Tips
Choose glass-paned lanterns with wind guards so your candle flames won’t extinguish easily from ocean breezes.
Variations and Essentials
- Variations: Cluster lanterns of varying heights together for a dynamic, castle-courtyard lighting display.
- Essentials: Black iron gothic lanterns, pillar candles, wind-resistant glass panes.
