Witch’s Potion Bottles

Channel your inner apothecary by turning ordinary kitchen jars, wine bottles, and condiment containers into ancient, dusty potion bottles. Displayed on a shelf, mantle, or kitchen counter, these detailed bottles look like they contain rare, magical ingredients harvested straight from a dark forest.
Clean various glass bottles of different shapes and sizes. Paint them with matte black, dark green, or amber acrylic paint, or leave them clear and fill them with colored water, glitter, and plastic eyeballs. Print out vintage-style potion labels with names like “Eye of Newt,” “Bone Dust,” or “Liquid Despair.” Scuff the labels with sandpaper and stain them with wet tea bags to make them look aged before gluing them to the bottles. Wrap twine or jute around the necks of the bottles and seal them with real candle wax for an authentic, antique finish.
