Giant Lawn Spiders
Make a bold, terrifying statement on your roof, porch, or front lawn with giant, larger-than-life spiders. This high-impact outdoor decoration is constructed using inexpensive black trash bags and foam pipe insulation tubes, creating a massive creature that is lightweight and easy to mount.
Stuff a large black trash bag with crumpled newspaper, dry leaves, or plastic bags to form a round, bulbous spider body. Tie it shut and attach a smaller stuffed bag to serve as the head. For the legs, insert flexible wire or wire coat hangers inside black foam pipe insulation tubes so you can bend them into realistic, creepy joints. Attach four legs to each side of the body using black duct tape.
