Yard Border Fence
Frame your haunted yard and keep visitors on the path with a classic, gothic-style picket fence. By using cheap wooden garden stakes or lightweight lath boards, you can build a modular, spooky fence line that defines your outdoor display and adds immense curb appeal.
Gather thin wooden slats or lath boards and cut them to your desired height, cutting the tops into sharp, pointed gothic pickets. Connect the pickets using two horizontal running boards, securing them with screws or hot glue. Paint the entire fence section matte black or a weathered, peeling white. Use a dry-brush of gray and green to simulate rot and moss. Push the fence sections into your lawn using stakes, angling them slightly to make the fence look old, neglected, and beautifully decrepit.
