11. Victorian Bay Window Chimney Extension
In classical Victorian architecture, chimneys were rarely hidden internal flues; they were ornate, expressive structural features showcased on the exterior of the house. The Victorian Bay Window Chimney Extension integrates a red-brick fireplace directly between two tall, narrow stained-glass bay windows. As light streams through the colored glass on either side of the fireplace, it illuminates the detailed brickwork and intricate stone carvings of the interior hearth mantle.
To build this, use a rich combination of red brick slabs, brick stairs, and chiseled stone blocks to create dynamic depth along the vertical stack. Outside the house, the exterior chimney projects outward from the main wall frame, featuring classic Victorian decorative chimney pots made from flower pots stacked atop campfire blocks encased in spruce trapdoors. Inside, frame the fire pit with dark oak wood panels, smooth granite trims, and a golden clock positioned perfectly at the central apex of the fireplace trim.
