15. The Alien UFO Abduction Zone
Blast off into a spooky sci-fi adventure with an outer space door design that is out of this world. Cover the door in a dark space-themed paper, complete with hand-painted galaxies and constellations. At the top, construct a metallic silver UFO out of foil paper. Cut a wide beam of bright yellow paper extending down from the UFO to the bottom of the door, representing a tractor beam. Place small, cartoonish green aliens inside the beam, along with student name tags that look like they are being abducted. Write a bold, retro-futuristic sign that says, “Out of This World Learning!” This imaginative theme is a huge hit with fifth graders who love science fiction and space exploration.
