1. The Haunted Apothecary Cabinet
Transform an ordinary bookshelf or glass cabinet into a dark, mysterious apothecary shop from the nineteenth century. Gather vintage glass bottles of various shapes, sizes, and colors, then fill them with tinted water, dried moss, plastic spiders, and faux specimen labels. You can age the labels using wet tea bags and singeing the edges with a lighter. Add some vintage books bound in worn leather, a few dripping black taper candles, and a scattering of faux skulls to complete the look. This decoration serves as a magnificent focal point for a living room or entryway, drawing guests in to inspect the bizarre ingredients and mysterious potions on display.
