19. The Candy Monster’s Mouth
Turn your entire doorway into a giant, colorful monster that “eats” students as they enter the classroom. Wrap the door frame in bright purple or blue paper, and cut out giant, jagged white teeth to hang down from the top of the frame, creating a mouth. On the door itself, draw a giant, swirling tongue and several mismatched, goofy eyes staring out. Surround the monster with colorful paper candies, lollipops, and chocolates. Add a sign that reads, “Hungry for Knowledge!” This playful, high-impact design is incredibly fun, interactive, and guarantees a cheerful start to every school day.
