Glow-in-the-Dark Constellation Pumpkins
Combine astronomy with pumpkin carving by creating glow-in-the-dark constellation pumpkins. Paint real or faux pumpkins in a deep, matte midnight blue or black. Using a gold metallic paint pen, draw lines connecting classic constellations across the surface of the pumpkin, adding small gold dots for stars.
To make them shine at night, use a small drill or awl to punch holes through the star points. Place a bright white LED light inside the pumpkin, allowing the light to beam out of the drilled holes, projecting starry patterns onto the surrounding walls. This celestial design is highly creative, mess-free if using faux pumpkins, and offers a stunning, sophisticated alternative to the traditional jack-o’-lantern grin.
