10. Under the Sea Monster Ceiling

Turn a standard blue-painted hallway ceiling into a deep-sea nightmare. Hang long, undulating strips of green and teal crepe paper streamers to represent swaying kelp forests. From the ceiling tiles, suspend giant, glowing jellyfish made from clear plastic bowls, iridescent cellophane, and battery-operated fairy lights. Interspersed among the jellyfish, hang cutouts of terrifying deep-sea creatures, complete with glowing anglerfish lures and sharp, jagged teeth. As students walk beneath this underwater canopy, they will feel as though they have plunged into the eerie, unexplored depths of a haunted ocean trench.
