20. Haunted Forest Hallway
Create a completely immersive experience by turning an entire hallway into a dark, haunted forest. Cover the walls from floor to ceiling with dark brown and black butcher paper, using paint or chalk to draw the textures of rough tree bark and twisted branches. Suspend real, dried tree branches from the ceiling grid, weaving artificial autumn leaves and gray Spanish moss through them to create a dense canopy overhead. Place battery-operated up-lights along the baseboards, casting long, dramatic shadows upward. This stunning, atmospheric transformation will make walking down the hall feel like an epic journey through an enchanted, mysterious woodland.
