7. Creepy Crawly Cafeteria Windows

7

The large, expansive windows of a school cafeteria are the perfect canvas for dramatic, high-contrast silhouettes. Using black butcher paper or heavy-duty black construction paper, cut out massive silhouettes of creeping monsters, giant bats, howling wolves, and gnarled, leafless trees. Tape these shapes directly to the inside of the windows. During the day, the bright sunlight filtering in from outside will illuminate the silhouettes, creating a stark, spooky shadow-puppet effect for everyone eating lunch inside. At night, the interior school lights will project these terrifying shapes outward toward the parking lot, greeting visitors with a spooky surprise.
